August 9, 2003 is a day that will never be forgotten in my life.

It was on that day when I suffered a heart attack and didn't know

it while on family vacation in Southern California. Although

I realized something wasn't right that day, I traveled across

country to my home, and continued life as usual with yard work

and live call-in cable TV talkshow during the following days

until I had a scheduled annual physical and EKG raised red flags.

I am indebted to Dr. Copen, Dr. Yacono and Danbury Hospital

Cardiac Rehabilitation Center for their expert medical help

and initial support of my ongoing medical sports program.  I am

involved in an innovative project supporting research that

wrestling is the best cardiovascular exercise.  Weightlifting

and wrestling instruction by best in sports arena helps

me to improve my heart and daily living 100%.

As a avid supporter of Danbury Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation

Center, I am pleased the state has authorized improved

heart treatment programming there.  Although I am on a road to

speedy recovery, one never knows when one needs immediate

assistance from nearby hospital.

While August 9, 2003 was a yellow warning in my life, it

now puts me at the helm of my life to determine what is

in best interest of me.  Dr. Copen gave me the zeal and

zest to vigorously workout from day one in this new world

of living, which I am now doing with great people like a Polish

champion wrestler, high school accomplished weightlifter,

among others sports professionals. And, that I have resumed

normal living as a teacher, cable TV Talkshow host, wrestler

and live as long as I originally thought I would

like my grandfather of 95.  It's a fact of life and God

driven too I might add.
