USA TV TALK NEWS
(Danbury, Connecticut)...Albert George Bruhn began his cable TV career twenty-five years ago
this fall on public access Channel 6, which was located in the basement of Danbury Public Library.
He brought to the Channel 6 News Update anchor seat eight years of media experiences ranging
from weekend news director at WINE AM/FM and WLAD AM/FM to newspaper writer for Bridgeport Sunday
Post, Newtown Bee and Citizen News, and weekend news reporter for Mutual Broadcasting System.
Countless hours of volunteer time has been spent by America's First and Longest Running Public Access
Producer-Host (Anchor-Reporter) in addition to hosting hundreds of guests and volunteer technical crew members.
"It's been a super voyage into the outer domains of our media world," Al Bruhn said. It can be said that Al Bruhn took public access out of the closet of Dark Ages and fried
a "few special old fashioned tasty omelets" since 1978.
Al Bruhn will be celebrating his silver anniversary on Comcast cable TV 23 sometime
during the current 2003-2004 season. He's a guest teacher with several public school districts.
Currently, Al Bruhn is writing a book on his public access experiences which will
"fry some more special omelets as well." Click here for Al Bruhn resume!E-mail: [email protected]
