Nothing extinguised
The Ridgefield Fire Department was out in force late this afternoon at Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church on Main Street after a fire alarm went off. According to Fire Department Captain John Drake, there was no fire, but somebody had discharged a dry fire extinguisher, the contents of which �looked like smoke." While nobody was hurt, Captain Drake said, the incident created �a big mess.� Ridgefield Police are investigating and the fire marshal was called in. �Austin Moran photo
