(Danbury, Connecticut)...With much anticipation towards the second season, after an overachieving first, The Danbury Trashers came on the show to discuss their past, present and future goals for the team. These hard nose athletes had one thing on their mind and that was to bring a championship to Danbury.
Head Coach Paul Gillis brings a winning attitude to the team as he has already won a championship with the Quad City Mallards in 1998. Coach Gillis was once a productive player NHL has he played for the Quebec Nordiques, Chicago Blackhawks, and the beloved Hartford Whalers and was rated one of the 25 most underrated players in the NHL in the 1989-90 season.
Accompanying the coach was returning player Dave MacIassac and new comer Donny Grover. MacIassac is as hard noise has they come. He has gotten into numerous scuffles throughout the year and with each hand-to-hand combat win on the ice, Dave gives his signature diamond cutter sign that appears to touched a note with the fans. Donny is a defenseman that is in his first year on the team and actually played for the Coach Gillis the year before.
