USA TV Talk Sports with Justin Mazzarese
(Danbury, Connecticut)...In the first interview on October 12, 2005 at Comcast, I interviewed the Head Coach of WestConn Football John Burrell. We discussed his last opponet in Spingfield and his next opponet in College of New Jersey. Coach Burrell discussed his reasons for running the spread offense and the 3-3 defense. During the interview, a call came in and it was a alumni from 1968, who just wanted to tell coach how proud he was at the job him and his staff was doing. Burrell took over the job once when Head Coach Robert Surace left for the Cincinnatti Bengals of the NFL. During the interview with WestConn�s Head Coach of Football John Burrell, there was a call from a man named Skip who did not want to ask any questions about the game or how the team is doing, he just wanted to thank the coach for the job that he has done. Skip wanted to tell Coach how proud he was that he was an alumni of the WestConn Colonials. Skip was apart of the inaugural 1968 team.
