(WRESTLING UPDATE)...Fall 2004 Wrestling Clinics to be announced here soon, so stay tuned. Open mat time and amateur wrestling instruction/practice to be provided at Ridgefield Recreation Center. Brandon Prino and Al Bruhn will head the new clinics. Both wrestlers are working together on national cardio/wrestling medical project to prove wrestling strengthens the heart with the co-operation of world known experts in image psychology which enhances wrestling abilities on the mat. Prino is a former outstanding Ridgefield High School wrestler and EMT licensed staff member with state medical company. Bruhn has honorably served as an administrator assistant and special teacher at Mahopac Alternative High School. Also, Prino and Bruhn were involved in martial arts submission grappling bout Oct. 29 in New England. Video of that match to be broadcast here shortly. They plan to wrestle in scholastic and freestyle wrestling tournaments. Video and pictures of Prino and Bruhn will be posted here throughout the year. Bruhn got Prino started in wrestling when he was a freshman at RHS. Both grapplers have strong admiration and respect for one another on and off the mat, and will succeed in their new projects. We wish them well!

WRESTLING NEWS UPDATE: High School wrestlers, coaches will demonstrate scholastic wrestling skills at future clinics to be video taped for public access/education access cable TV programming. Also, martial arts submission grapplers will and are invited to present demonstrations as well. All clinics to take place at Ridgefield Recreation Center Contact Coach Bruhn (203) 438-1243 for more information. Cardio/wrestling helps athletes in all sports in addition to daily exercising by people in general. Learn, practice, compete in scholastic~folkstyle, freestyle wrestling with elementary, middle school, high school, college and adult althletes/wrestlers.

Senior Coach Al Bruhn is involved in a special Danbury Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation weightlifting/wrestling program to prove wrestling is best exercise to strengthen the heart with EMT certified Brandon Prino as his special trainer. Al Bruhn plans to compete in USA Wrestling Federation tournaments and other wrestling tournaments, plus martial arts submission grappling tournaments next year, and write a book, movie script and other newspaper and magazine articles about his wrestling experiences. Al Bruhn is being mentored by world noted authors Jaqueline Lapa Sussman and AKHTER AHSEN, PH.D.These authors are experts in imagery psychology and will enhance Al Bruhn�s weightlifting and wrestling abilities to score wins on tournament mats next year!
